Conservative Views in the World Today

In this world today, we hear a lot of grumblings about the politics of old style conservatives and what are referred to as "Neo-Cons" that paint a negative picture of their views. There is no "one view" regardless of political affiliation, and it's easy to cross political lines when those lines are sometimes blurred by very distinctly individual philosophies.

Yet when we hear those in the media speak of the division between conservative versus liberal viewpoints, we hear a more distinct separation that drives the two opposing parties further apart in America. This fragmenting of political views has caused more dissention than needed be in an already confusing situation surrounding world politics.

From the war in Iraq to the Terri Schiavo case which drew national media attention, never have the lines drawn appeared more distinct. But the reality of those lines are more blurred than ever, and individuals are left more confused as to which side they are on.

What do you think?
